
The mission of St. Mary’s School Advisory Council is to serve in an advisory capacity to the Principal and the Pastor of the Church of the Immaculate Conception.
As such the board advises the principal in the formulation and adoption of policy related to all areas of school life. The board also assists in the development of St. Mary’s long-range plan, student recruitment and retention, public relations, and alumni relations. Evaluation of the school’s mission statement, goals procedures, and programs as well as the effectiveness of the board itself are additional board responsibilities. Annually the board is responsible for appointments to all board committees. Working closely with the principal, the board assists with the development and submission of the annual operations budget.
Annually the board participates on the St. Mary’s financial, development, student recruitment plant and facility, technology, and other ad hoc committees as required.
